InThinking:
IB Film
Inthinking is a subscription-based service that helps thousands of teachers around the world with discipline-based knowledge, teaching materials, interactive content, and weekly updates. My colleague Erick Pessoa and I are now in the process of building their IB Film page with an expected launch of late 2024 or early 2025.
School Arts Magazine
From 2012 to 2022, I served as a contributing editor and wrote over 50 articles for Davis Publications' School Arts Magazine, mostly in the context of my monthly Media Arts column. In addition, I guest edited two issues; one on Activism in Art (subscription needed for viewing) and one on Movement in Art.
Three of my articles featuring student project ideas were featured in Davis' book, Media Arts.

Makers, Crafters, Educators
The book Makers, Crafters and Educators: Working for Cultural Change focuses on how Maker Spaces and the constructionist pedagogy of making can not just shift the culture of a school, but help teach and build towards socio-cultural transformation. My chapter focuses on how the work done between the Maker Space and Innovation Institute at the Shanghai American School creates a context for students to work on meaningful projects that respond to meaningful issues.
The Carrot Revolution
The Carrot Revolution is a blog that I started in 2005. It began simply as a way for me to share and record useful resources I was using in my art and film classes. As it developed, it became more focused on the pedagogy and practice of teaching art in the 21st century. The Carrot Revolution was featured in Art Education Magazine as a key resource for teachers looking to integrate technology and digital media into their classes. It also received Blogger's Blog of Note award in 2008 and was listed by Rasmussen College as a Top 50 educational blog.
